Numerator is a modern, progressive data and tech company reinventing market research. Its new headquarters is located in the iconic Marshall Fields building at 24 E Washington in Chicago.
The Numerator brand and data are alive and vibrant and the space reflects that. On arrival, visitors are intentionally drawn straight into the heart of the company, with the dramatic raised cafe platform lit by natural light flooding in through the oversized department store windows visible from reception.
The concept of data drove the design, and employees and visitors see artful, inspiring nods to data throughout. The colorful film treatment on the glass walls of the board room are digital manipulations of data. The central gathering space features a mural inspired by Numerator’s proprietary data collection. Joyful colors and furniture pieces populate these spaces, giving employees ample choice on where and how they work, collaborate, and socialize. Enclosed huddle and phone rooms are inspired, named, and decorated by popular movies that celebrate data, numbers, and research. Custom art and wallcoverings are inspired by the principles of data science. The result is a place where neon coexists beautifully with vintage windows in a seamless homage to the Numerator business and the collaborative spirit of its employees.
